Remember to Floss
Flossing reaches into the areas of your mouth where your toothbrush does not venture. Dentists recommend flossing at least once a day to remove plaque from behind and in between teeth. Flossing is an easy way to prevent complicated problems such as gum disease and cavities. It doesn’t matter when you do it, as long as you make flossing a routine.
If you think you don’t have the extra couple of minutes you need to floss your teeth every day, consider the damage build up of plaque can do. If plaque is not adequately removed with regular brushing and flossing, it hardens into tartar. Untreated, tartar can quickly lead to cavities and tooth decay. Flossing also brightens your smile by removing plaque and old food particles, so one of your new years resolutions this year should be to remember to floss.
